How to make a child self and less insecure

Today families’ aim is to ensure happiness to their children. In order to do this, they try to satisfy their wishes and their requests without imposing limits and rules of any kind. But is this the right way to make them happy and autonomous?

Absolutely not! A child who grows up getting everything he wants, from toys to technology to the uncontrolled consumption of junkfood, will simply be weaker and become a victim of those who, out of spite or envy will persecute him.
But how can parents, who may work full time, avoid all this? First, it is important to understand that all desires cannot be fulfilled. Believing that filling one’s absence with a thousands of gifts is a widespread and harmful habit. The child will develop a distorted view on evaluating people and things. Even the TV, the play station and the tablet will lead your child to a sedentary lifestyle that does not stimulate his creativity at all.
So how should be our behavior towards them? Which activities are suitable for their growth stage?
Our advice is true for all parents: cut out some moments to take your kids in open space where they can let off steam and have fun, make friends with their peers and maybe stay in contact with the animals. This would make a child happy!
Many teachers in fact, are adopting the "outdoor education", an educational technique born in Denmark, in which the formation and growth of children occurs mainly outdoors. This technique assumes that the educational and social experiences are developed especially in the early years of life (0-6 years). The results are surprising. Growing up in a healthy environment and in healthy air creates the conditions for tomorrow's adults who will be happier and probably healthier.

Educational farms are a great way to open our minds to our children In Italy there are many activities that children can do outside: some farms offer days in which parents children can be in contact with animals and can explore together the environment.
Many zoos and parks organize free days or discounts for families offering art and cooking workshops, discovering nature, sports activities for children with disabilities and didactic vegetable gardens.
Nature, open spaces and the comparison with their peers will help to make future generations stronger and less insecure. At the same time, we as parents become more confident about giving the opportunity to our children to make small decisions that will lead them to understand what is right or wrong!
Remember that most of the disasters that we fear, fortunately, will not occur in reality, but the moments of joy and serenity that we give up to, trying to keep everything under control, will be lost forever. Stop worrying and things will go exactly how they should go. Instead, use your energy to watch your child in the eye, to know him, to let him understand you are there and that you have confidence in him.
You will be rewarded.
