Sleeping in the right position does not make you snore at night

The causes of snoring are due to several factors, let's see some!

For common people snoring is undervalued and associated jokingly to the crisis of marriage the partner is so tired of sleepless nights,that he decides to spend the night in another room; Erroneously relieved with homemade methods, such as marbles in pajamas, forced positions, nasal strips ignoring the alarm bells that can lead to serious respiratory diseases.

Otolaryngologists are launching a call for help to understand the severity of the problem "Only recently it was understood that this particular form of noise can have serious consequences for the health of sufferers and it is a warning signal of two important diseases: the Chronic snoring and the most severe Sleep Apnea Syndrome (SAS or Sleep Apnea Syndrome) responsible of a sharp reduction of body’s oxygenation and afterwards heart attacks and strokes."

The causes of snoring are due to several factors, excessive body weight, smoking causes the thickening of the lingual tonsil, supine position causes a sliding back of the tongue, breathing from the mouth instead of the nose.
Some of them contribute to reduce the flow of air that we input in our body, open-mouthed breathing favors the direct introduction of not heated and not filtered air inside the lungs, which is the function performed by the nose.

Many ignore the problem and just when they get to a chronic stage they rely on specialized centers to receive treatments that are often invasive such as ventilation, the inclusion of mobile devices that immobilize the tongue during sleep, others are forced to face surgery.

A valid solution to solve the problem is to assume a correct and raised position during sleep, ideal is to choose adjustable bed frames, with a manual or electric head lifting and slats reinforced in the lumbar area to adjust the overall stiffness according to weight and cervical to prevent the relaxed tongue from obstructing the trachea preventing proper breathing..
