Properties against insomnia

Essential oils certainly do not cure insomnia, but can help us relax, allowing us to fall asleep faster and stay asleep until awakening. The three most effective essential oils against insomnia are lavender promoting relaxation. It works very well especially with women prone to having strong mood swings or who are in menopause, often responsible for agitated and interrupted sleep; the Roman chamomile which is a natural sedative but presents an odor not appreciated by all, so if you prefer, it is possible to associate it with lavender or another citrus essential oil such as bergamot or bitter orange, two other important anti-stress essences; finally, clary sage with narcotic properties.
Of course, we recommend the ultrasonic electric diffuser, both for the safety, both for the continuity of the diffusion of the aromas and also for the certainty that the water inside the bowl does not evaporate completely by burning the essences. An useful alternative is to keep the speaker on for a few hours and then switch it off when you go to sleep. For those without a diffuser, another practical and simple remedy can be to put a few drops of essential oil on a cloth to keep close during the night, or to add a few drops of essential oil to your pillow in order to maintain longer aroma.
