Sleeping with air conditioning: yes or no?

Ordinary summer night: 29 or 30 degrees, turning in late, heavy stomach, wine, euphoria, mosquitoes, hot sweat, sweaty bed ... In short, another sleepless night!
Nowadays, even those who sleep without any problems all year, during the summer struggle to sleep, they sleep badly and in the morning they wake up even more tired than the night before.
In addition to bad habits, there is a scientific explanation for this. During sleep the temperature of our body naturally drops to about one degree Celsius so as to favor melatonin production and our rest. On the contrary, the high outdoor temperature, typical of summer nights, limits the decrease of the body temperature and breaks the circadian rhythms.
How to restore ,then, the proper temperature of our body? And if I turn on the air conditioning? Would I risk to get up in the morning with headaches, torsos, joint pains and allergies? Or serene and relaxed?

There is a lot of talk about it in these days. There are those who hate it, who does not even want to name it. Who could not even get up in the morning and go to the office without it...
Air conditioning is a good thing for the hot nights, the only ally when outside is boiling , but if it is not used cautiously and properly, it could also be a deadly weapon against our health . Little is needed to use this precious instrument with intelligence, without necessarily turning it into a danger to the body and into a forge of illnesses and annoyances that, in the long run, could seriously compromise your physical well-being.
In a nutshell, setting the air conditioning to 20 degrees centigrade when out there are 38 is the worst use you can make of an air conditioner!

tips and tricks about how to sleep with the air conditioning on

HOW TO USE IT CORRECTLY?

1. Lower the temperature by a maximum of 6 or 7 degrees with respect to the outside temperature. Getting below this limit can cause chronic illnesses, sinusitis, headaches, abdominal pain and all the disastrous consequences of a sudden temperature change.

2. Place the air nozzles around the ceiling and do not expose them directly to the air jet.

3. Periodically clean the air conditioner filters to avoid mud, dust, and pollen. If the filters are dirty, in fact, the bacteria may circulate causing allergies, respiratory difficulties, and so on.

4. Try to turn on the air in your room before going to sleep, then turn it off at night.

5. Use the timer to automatically switch off the air conditioner: when you are asleep, your body will naturally cool to some degrees and you will be able to sleep smoothly!
